1. Who handles your information
Jerry Leon operates under the AmpSheen name as an individual and decides how enquiry information is used. AmpSheen is a service name on this website, not a statement that a limited company has been incorporated. For privacy matters, contact Jerry at jerry@ampsheen.com. The contracting identity and contact details for any paid work are stated in the written engagement before it is accepted.
2. Information we collect
For a first enquiry, the form requires your name, email and either a part number or a short description. The support type has a default that you can change. Company or professional affiliation, industry, role, continent/country/region, component category and type, quantity and timing are optional. You can leave optional fields blank without preventing an initial response.
We also keep the enquiry reference, submission time, form language, campaign labels already in the link, consent choices and notice version, correspondence, handling status and records of actions and notification attempts. Do not include identity documents, payment details, sensitive personal information or confidential design files in the initial enquiry.
For form protection, the server processes the network address supplied by the hosting platform and uses a keyed, daily-changing identifier rather than storing the raw address in enquiry records. Short-lived form signatures, submission counters and keyed content fingerprints help limit automated, repeated or excessive requests. We also record your selected service option, if any; selecting an option does not place an order.
3. How we use it
We use your information to respond to the enquiry, clarify requirements, prepare a scope and quotation, coordinate agreed work, keep a record of project decisions and protect the service against misuse. We do not sell personal information, publish enquiries or use automated profiling to make significant decisions about you.
Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. Any marketing invitation will have a separate choice, and declining it will not affect your enquiry. If we propose an unrelated use of your information, we will explain it and obtain any consent required by law.
4. Storage, email and processing locations
The website database is the main enquiry record. Jerry can review and update it through a restricted owner dashboard; no visitor account is required. The website and database use Sites hosting infrastructure and Cloudflare. A reference and server-recorded time confirm storage. You may download a short submission receipt containing the reference, saved time and follow-up contact, without your contact details or message. A separate, optional local enquiry copy includes the contact details and requirements submitted from your browser. Each file is created on your device only when you choose its download button; it is not automatically saved in browser storage or sent by email. Keep the full copy private. The site does not send an automatic customer email receipt.
The owner dashboard has a pending list for new and in-progress enquiries. After replying, Jerry must manually change the status to awaiting customer; correspondence in an external mailbox does not update the site status. Awaiting-customer and closed records are excluded from the pending list. Statuses describe handling, not proof of email delivery or of whether a customer has received a reply.
As checked on 25 October 2026, the separate periodic ChatGPT follow-up reminder is paused. It is not a current delivery guarantee or a substitute for reviewing the owner dashboard. If enabled, its checks and reminders use only the reference, submission/update times, handling status and restricted dashboard link; not names, emails, companies, part numbers or messages. They are periodic status checks, not real-time alerts.
Operator email notices are not enabled. Prepared notices contain only the reference, submission time and dashboard link, with no customer Reply-To. If activated, Resend will send them separately to jerry@ampsheen.com and jerryleonengineer@163.com; this notice will be updated before activation. Stored enquiries are retained if a notice cannot be sent.
Jerry may handle correspondence from Hong Kong or mainland China. Hosting and database providers may process information in other locations within their infrastructure; this website does not promise storage in one country. Email you send directly to Jerry is processed by the relevant mailbox providers, including NetEase for the 163.com address. Contact Jerry before sharing restricted information if your project needs a particular processing location or transfer arrangement.
If the form becomes out of date before submission, you may choose to download an unsent text draft before reloading. This draft contains the details you entered and does not establish that the enquiry was saved. It is saved on your device only when you choose to download it; keep it appropriately private. The form requires confirmation of the current privacy notice before a new enquiry is stored. A retry of an already-saved request retrieves its original record without replacing its privacy-confirmation version.
5. Sharing for a project
For work you have agreed, relevant suppliers, distributors, testing service providers or logistics providers may receive the specifications and other details needed for their part of the work. We will discuss sharing your name, contact details or identifying project information with you before providing it to a proposed project partner, unless another lawful basis applies. Enquiries are not automatically circulated to suppliers.
We may also disclose necessary information to professional advisers or authorities for advice, legal obligations or legal claims. We limit what is shared to the relevant purpose.
6. How long we keep it
For an enquiry that does not become a project, the normal limit is six months after the last substantive contact, to allow time for clarification and a possible follow-up. Jerry reviews these records manually and removes personal details when they are no longer needed. You can ask for earlier deletion by emailing the reference.
For an active project, the agreed work and applicable accounting, tax or legal requirements determine retention; the engagement should state the relevant period or basis. If a legal hold prevents deletion, we explain the reason and limit further use. A deletion review covers the active website record and any related working email or exported copies; deleting a dashboard record alone does not delete those other copies. Provider backups follow their own removal cycles and may not disappear immediately.
Form-protection signatures expire after 30 minutes. Duplicate-content identifiers expire within 24 hours and rate counters within 48 hours; expired entries are removed on subsequent form-protection requests. These records are used for security, not advertising. We also keep aggregate counts of rejected form requests, without contact details or raw IP addresses, to identify operational problems. Encrypted backup downloads are restricted to the operator. Erasure references are retained to prevent older backups from reintroducing deleted records; obsolete backup copies must be retired separately.
7. Protecting your information
The website uses HTTPS, restricted owner access and server-side permission checks for the enquiry dashboard. We keep records of enquiry actions and limit personal information in diagnostic messages. These measures reduce risk, but no online service is entirely risk-free.
If an incident affects personal information, we will take steps to contain it, assess the impact and notify affected people or the relevant authority where required. Please contact Jerry if you suspect an issue involving your enquiry.
8. Your requests and choices
Email jerry@ampsheen.com to ask whether we hold your personal information, request a copy or correction, or ask about its use. You may also request deletion, withdraw consent, or ask us to restrict or stop a use where applicable law provides those rights. An enquiry reference helps us find the record; we will ask only for verification reasonably needed to protect it.
Where Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance applies, qualifying access and correction requests are normally handled within 40 calendar days. If an exception or lawful delay applies, we will explain the reason within the required period. Any permitted access fee will be explained in advance. Withdrawing consent does not reverse earlier lawful processing, and some records may still be needed for legal obligations. You may raise a concern with the Hong Kong Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data or another competent data-protection authority.
9. Website preferences and notice updates
The hosting service uses an IP-derived country code to suggest an initial website language. Your manual choice takes priority and is stored in the ampsheen-language cookie for up to one year. You can change the language in the header or clear the cookie in your browser; clearing it removes the saved preference. AmpSheen does not add your IP address to enquiry records for language selection. Hosting providers may keep technical and security logs under their own policies. We currently use no advertising pixels or marketing analytics. Owner sign-in uses the platform’s authentication service and necessary cookies.
This notice takes effect on 28 September 2026. We record the version presented when you submit an enquiry. If our handling changes materially, we will update this notice and provide further notice or seek consent where required.
